Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise IT environments. This role is heavily focused on servers, networking, and infrastructure reliability. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in system administration, network management, and cybersecurity, with the ability to independently maintain and optimize mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain IT infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and network architecture.
- Administer and manage Windows Server and/or Linux server environments.
- Manage virtualization platforms.
- Configure and maintain network infrastructure (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs).
- Monitor network performance, bandwidth usage, and system availability; proactively resolve bottlenecks.
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, and domain services.
- Implement and enforce network security and cybersecurity measures (firewalls, IDS/IPS, endpoint security).
- Plan and execute system upgrades, patches, and infrastructure improvements.
- Manage backup systems, storage solutions, and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and network issues (Level 2–3 support).
- Ensure high availability, redundancy, and business continuity of IT systems.
- Support hybrid/cloud infrastructure (Microsoft 365, Azure, or similar platforms).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
- 5–10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, server administration, and networking
- Strong expertise in:
- Windows Server and/or Linux administration
- Networking protocols and services (TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, VPN, routing, switching)
- Enterprise networking hardware
- Storage systems and backup solutions
- Cybersecurity best practices and network security
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance tuning
- Strong troubleshooting skills in complex infrastructure environments
- Ability to work independently and manage critical systems with minimal supervision
