Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist with 5–10 years of hands-on experience in managing, supporting, and optimizing IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should possess comprehensive knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software, and security practices. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can independently manage IT operations and provide technical support across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain company IT infrastructure (servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and networking equipment).
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software systems.
- Administer Windows and/or Linux servers.
- Manage Active Directory, user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures (firewalls, antivirus, endpoint protection, backups).
- Perform system upgrades, patches, and routine maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues (Level 1–3 support).
- Manage data backups and disaster recovery processes.
- Support cloud services (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar platforms).
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
- 5–10 years of proven IT experience (home country experience acceptable).
- Strong knowledge of:
- Computer hardware and peripherals.
- Operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, LAN/WAN).
- Server management and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Cybersecurity best practices.
- Cloud platforms and email systems.
- Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
